DeFi Kingdom $JEWEL, as of December 2, 2021, has officially announced its first-ever cross chain expansion alongside the release of a new realm – Crystalvale – and a myriad of new features and resources!!!

The expansion leverages $AVAX subnets of near-instant transaction speeds, low fees, and over 4,500 TPS.

DeFi Kingdom: Crystalvale will be released on March 30, 2022!

Crystalvale will bring in a new token to power the realm itself, $CRYSTAL. Obtainable by single staking $JEWEL tokens through the bridge over from $ONE. CRYSTAL is the counterpart of JEWEL just like Serendale is to Crystalvale.

The Ice Gardens offers an incentivized pool emitting CRYSTAL tokens, a counterpart to the Garden at Serendale.

Following the #Crystalvale expansion, DeFi Kingdom created a new optional high-risk high-reward quest called ‘The Perilous Journey’. This quest would send off heroes into an uncharted journey with a high risk of them being burnt (similar to token burn).

Heroes brave enough would go on a dangerous voyage lasting 9 days. Surviving heroes would return to Serendale ($ONE) not bridged to Crystalvale (unreleased and in $AVAX).

The survival chance is determined by heroes’ level, rank, and rarity.

Now diving into the technicalities itself, DeFi Kingdoms would produce their own subnet (DFK Chain) inside $AVAX partnering with @avalabsofficial.

DFK is an EVM-compatible blockchain that will be validated by their subnets and uses PoA/PoS developed by Ava Labs.

To complement this, $JEWEL will now have another use case of serving as the network gas token for DFK Chain. Effective total supply remains 500M.

Following this new usage of $JEWEL, DFK will expand to have ‘outposts’ on multiple chain; introducing integrated bridging and trading to local DEX and bridge to $AVAX without leaving the game.

Being a subnet validators for DFK requires the users to stake JEWEL first and be whitelisted.

Partnering with Avalanche Foundation, DFK will incentivize #Crystalvale launch with a total of $15M (half in CRYSTAL and half in $AVAX).
